North American on-demand TV channel Eurocinema has signed a multi-year VOD deal with film studio and distributor Miramax.
Under the agreement, Eurocinema will start to air international titles from Miramax’s catalogue from this month, including films like Malena, About Adam and Dirty Pretty Things. These will be priced between US$3.95 (€3) and US$4.99 to view, with new Miramax titles to be added each month.
Eurocinema is currently available to more than 35 million subscribers through cable and telco systems, via providers such as Comcast, Cablevision, Charter and Verizon. The VOD network is dedicated to European movies.
