BBC to boost women’s football coverage

The BBC is to increase its coverage of women’s football with the introduction of two preview shows on BBC Two, coverage of July’s Women’s European Championship in Sweden on BBC Three, with the final shown on BBC Two, and four FA Women’s Super League programmes on BBC Two.

The BBC will also show the England team’s World Cup qualifiers and will air a weekly  goals round-up online and on the BBC News Channel throughout the Women’s Soccer League season.
