French cable operator Numericable has added public broadcaster France Télévisions’ video-on-demand service Pluzzvad to its LaBox advanced TV offering.
The addition of Pluzzvad will make a catalogue of over 4,000 programmes available to Numericable LaBox subscribers from eight days after their linear broadcast in both standard and high-definition.
The service will be available via the LaBox Vidéoclub menu and will offer programmes and films under five categories: French and international cinema, drama and series, documentaries and magazine shows, kids shows and live events.
The introduction of the VOD offer will be followed shortly by the addition of France Télévisions free catch-up service, which makes over 1,000 programmes from France 2, France 3 France 4, France 5 et France Ô, as well as 24 France 3 regional services, available for seven days after their linear broadcast.
