Norwegian broadcaster TV2 has chosen quality assurance specialist Agama Technologies to to provide service quality assurance across its headend and distribution network.
TV 2 has selected Agama to provide a solution for continuous real-time monitoring of its complete channel lineup, detecting issues from transport stream problems to encoding and service configuration issues, according to Agama.
“Constantly monitoring our quite complex head-end and distribution environment is essential for our service delivery, as its performance ultimately affects all viewers,” said Jan Piet Ballegeer, systems engineer at TV 2. “We opted for Agama’s solution due to its feature rich and in-depth monitoring capabilities, flexibility and scalability, as well as its future proof approach to managing multiple distribution technologies and services in a single and unified user interface.”
