Swisscom grew its TV base by 63,000 in the fourth quarter to end the year with 791,000 Swisscom TV customers, a 30.1% increase year-on-year.
According to the operator, about 200,000 Swisscom TV customers have already used the service’s replay function, allowing catch-up viewing of content from 70 channels for up to 30 hours after broadcast.
Swisscom’s fixed broadband base grew by 4% over the year to 1.73 million. Italian subsidiary Fastweb ended the year with 1.77 million customers, up 63,000 in the fourth quarter.
Swisscom posted net full-year revenue of CHF11.4 billion (€9.3 billion), down 0.3% on a like-for-like basis, and EBITDA of CHF4.4billion, down 0.6%.
