Russian broadcaster CTC Media has named Yulia Mitrovich as chief strategy and digital media officer.
Mitrovich was previously chief investment officer at Svyaznoy, responsible for launching investment projects in retail, banking and e-commerce. She has also served as CEO of online video streaming portal Zoomby.ru.
“We are pleased to welcome Yulia into the CTC Media management team. During her professional career, she has proved herself to be a successful manager and high-class specialist, who has managed a wide range of projects – from developing ideas for new media startups to effectively running a business,” said CTC Media CEO Boris Podolsky. “We see digital media as a strategic area, which is inextricably linked with and naturally complements our main television business, as well as offering great long-term growth potential. Therefore, Yulia’s experience in this area is particularly important and valuable for us.”
