Telemundo teams with Samsung for connected TV app

Telemundo Internacional and Samsung Latin America have joined forces to launch a new app for Samsung Smart TV and Samsung mobile devices.

The Telemundo Internacional VOD will allow viewers to watch the US Hispanic broadcaster’s content on-demand, on connected devices.

The line-up includes Telemundo’s hit telenovelas La Reina del Sur, Dame Chocolate, Decisiones and La Diosa Coronada.

The app was developed by Tangerine Mobile.

“We are really excited about this new agreement which marks another important step in Telemundo Internacional’s digital developments in the region, using its own brand and its new image,” said Luis Daniel Capriles, vice-president of digital media for Telemundo Internacional.
