Russian public TV internet launch delayed

Russia’s new public broadcaster has delayed the launch of services on the internet, which were originally planned for the end of last week, as a result of financial difficulties, according to local reports.

Director-general Anatoly Lysenko said that broadcasts on the internet would now likely begin in the spring. However the on-air launch of the service is still scheduled for May 19.
