ESPN has renewed its sponsorship deal with Budweiser for the English FA Cup football competition.
The latest deal includes a number of new elements, according to ESPN. Social media integration will underpin the pair’s joint activities. Fans watching or accessing any of the multi-platform content will be encouraged to share their views and opinions on the FA Cup – and associated Budweiser and ESPN content – via Twitter using the #ToTheDream hashtag. ESPN will also run Here’s to the Dream, a series of eight short fan-focused films running all season from the first round through to the final, and five FA Cups legends-focused films running throughout the competition, as well as a number of other features.
ESPN will broadcast 25 live and exclusive FA Cup matches this season.
