Romanian pay TV provider Romtelecom has so far failed to strike a deal with commercial broadcaster Pro TV, meaning that the latter’s channels could be withdrawn from Romtelecom’s network as of tomorrow.
Romtelecom said it would cease broadcasting the 11 channels – which include MTV and VH1 Romania – on January 3 if not deal was concluded. The operator said that Pro TV had requested a significant hike in carriage fees for the channels.
