Czech DTH platform FreeSAT has reached the milestone of 100,000 subscribers.
The Liberty Global-owned operator reached the landmark figure a year after it rebranded from UPC Direct.
Jiri Kraval, UPC DTH marketing and sales director for the Czech Republic, said, “Our growth in Czech Republic is an obvious indication of all the efforts we make to provide great programming and a wide variety of packages as well as award winning customer care. Independent research shows our customers are happier to recommend FreeSAT to their friends than customers of our competitors which is an indication of the recognition by our customers of how serious we take and how hard we work to be best in class.”
