African Movie Channel launches iPad app, Roku service

The African Movie Channel has launched an app for the iPad, a video-on-demand channel on the Roku platform and a revamped on-demand portal.

The iPad app offers the ability to view a range of Nollywood and African films and TV series. Viewers can sign up for an account online at the africanmoviechannel.tv website.

The African Movie Channel is offering a subscription offering for US$5 (€3.85) a month for access to all three services and no minimum subscription. The channel adds a minimum of seven new movies to its line-up each week.
