JCC to get BBC Worldwide content

Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) has struck a deal with BBC Worldwide whereby it will be able to offer 180 hours of new BBC programming over a range of genres to its audience.

All programmes will be dubbed into classical Arabic and will be broadcast on JCCTV and Baraem TV in early 2013.

Programming in the deal includes original wildlife documentaries Deadly 60 and Deadly 360, natural history children’s series Andy’s Wild Adventures, drama series Leonardo and MI High, and animated shows including Me and My Monsters; In The Night Garden, a televisual representation of a nursery rhyme picture book for preschoolers on Baraem TV, and new animanted/live action show Baby Jake.
