MTG extends Viasat reach with Polsat

Polish DTH operator Cyfrowy Polsat has signed a deal with broadcaster Modern Times Group that will see a trio of Viasat channels added to its line-up.

This month, Polsat will add Viasat Explorer, Viasat History and Viasat Nature to the Family HD package. Early next year, the channels will be rebranded as Polsat Viasat channels.

From January, Polsat’s sales house Polsat Media will start selling ads on the channels.
