Numericable triple-play boosted by La Box

French cable operator Numericable triple-play subscriber numbers have received a boost from the success of its La Box offering, which was taken by 85,000 homes by the end of September.

Triple-play customers numbered 946,000, up 3,000, but TV-only customers dropped by 15,000 to 378,000.

Numericable received a boost, however, from its white-label brands including Bbox Fibre and AuchanBox, which grew by 18,000 to 264,000.

Numericable’s revenues for the quarter grew by a marginal 1% to €214 million, while EBITDA grew by 4.5% to €115 million.
