Ukrainian satellite TV operator Lybid TV has registered its name as a trademark for the sale of services in the country, according to local reports.
The Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property has listed Lybid TV as a registered trademark. The company, backed by General Satellite, which provides infrastructure for Russian pay TV leader Tricolor TV, recently began test broadcasting a package of eight channels in the DVB-S2 format. Lybid TV was initially expected to launch its service last year.
