YouSee handles customer losses

Danish cable operator YouSee increased third quarter revenues despite rising content costs and the loss of two housing customers.

The operator posted revenues of DKK1.13 million (€150 million), up 6.7% year-on-year. That is despite losing 8,000 housing association customers and being hit by increased content costs due to regulatory defined payments for TV2.

The operator added 11,000 basic RGUs during the three months ending September 30 and said a new deal with a housing association would see the addition of 3,000 homes during Q4.
