Discovery Networks International (DNI) says it now has over five million Facebook fans globally. The international channel provider now has over 5.267 million fans.
Currently, the most popular DNI fan pages are DMAX Germany with 849,718 fans, followed by Latin America’s Tudiscovery’s 606,797 and Real Time Italy at 597,561.
Discovery Channel has meanwhile launched its first global Facebook page and dedicated YouTube channel for its series How We Invented the World.
Discovery said the Facebook page would explore innovations featured both in and beyond the show, with posts in a number of languages. It will also feature video integration with the branded YouTube channel.
