Dutch cable operator Ziggo has doubled the number of channels available via its TV Everywhere service for Apple devices.
From today, the number of channels offered by the Ziggo TV app for Apple devices is increasing from 14 to 28 for those subscribing to the TV Extra package. Those with the Standard package will have access to 24 channels and those taking the TV Plus package will be offered 27 channels.
The app for Android devices was updated to offer all 28 channels last month.
The latest Ziggo TV app also integrates with Twitter, allowing users to forward, delete and edit tweets via the shortcuts within the app. It also allows up to three devices per household to watch live TV.
