FremantleMedia has separated its drama and digital divisions and promoted Donna Wiffen to head of worldwide drama.
Claire Tavernier previously oversaw digital and drama at the production and distribution firm as senior executive vice-president, FMX and worldwide drama. She remains in charge of the FMX digital division.
Wiffen has been at production group FremantleMedia since 2009 and previously worked for companies including Endemol and the BBC.
Both Tavernier and Wiffen report to company CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz. She said: “Donna’s promotion and the creation of distinct leadership for Worldwide Drama will better enable us to support and develop our drama offering at what is a very exciting time for the genre. Claire Tavernier will now focus exclusively on the continued success of our central new media division FMX and on furthering our position in the digital arena.”
