Russian broadcaster CTC Media has announced a series of management changes.
Natalia Bilan, formerly head of female-focused Domashny Channel, has been named as head of Story First Production, the company’s production arm, replacing Vasily Balashov, who has been named as deputy head and chief operating officer of CTC Channel. Bilan has been replaced as head of Domashny by Katalia Korotkova, the channels’ former programming director.
“I believe that this decision will allow to make the most of the top managers’ potential. It gives each of them the opportunity to further their career and apply their knowledge, experience and professionalism more broadly. We are therefore strengthening the management teams of CTC Media’s key priority segments and businesses,” said Boris Podolsky, CEO of CTC Media.
