TV content delivery platform specialist S3 Group and Teleplan, an after-market service company, have announced that Sky Italia has extended its after-market supply chain services relationship with Teleplan to include automated set-top box testing and screening using S3 Groups StormTest Decision Line.
Teleplan currently provides testing, repair, refurbishment and spare parts management services to Sky Italia. It will introduce automated screening to detect if set-top boxes need to be repaired at the beginning of the service chain.
