Content management and global distribution company RRsat has signed a contract with Russia Today for the distribution of Russia Today English HD, Russia Today Spanish and Russia Today Documentary HD channels to the USA, Latin America and Asia.
Using RRsat’s Global Network, the channels will be delivered by fibre to the RRsat Teleports, and from there uplinked to three satellites, which will then be delivered to millions of households via cable headends.
“Russia Today is a highly valued, long term customer of our company. We have been serving RT for many years, and we are very proud they have chosen us again for expanding their global distribution”, said Lior Rival, vice-president of sales and marketing of RRsat. “This agreement emphasises the added value RRsat’s customers gain from our end-to end solutions, from broadcasting through distribution, offering our customers to reach new countries, regions and continents.”
