Russian service provider MTS has chosen Teleste’s Luminato headend platform and Broadcast Manager service management system for additional digital deployments.

Our decision to carry out this project with Teleste has proved to be successful. When deciding about expanding to new locations, we didn’t hesitate to continue with Teleste,” said Boris Tomilin, chief of TV divisin in the MTS fixed network development department.

Separately, Teleste announced that its new Ubique OTT product, the launch of which was previously reported in DTVE IBC Update, was being supported by Verimatrix’s Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for Internet TV to provide full support in securing operators’ revenues.
