Multimedia Polska sees strong digital TV growth

Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska had 1.68 million revenue-generating units at the end of June, up 16% year-on-year, with strong growth in digital TV subscribers, up 44% to 243,000. Broadband subscribers were up 20% to 454,000. Voice subscribers numbered 277,000, up 2%.

Multimedia Polska’s first-half revenues were up 10% to PLN332.5 million (€79.3 million). Digital TV revenues were up 75% to PLN46.6 million, while broadband revenues were up 14% to PLN97.8 million and voice revenues were down slightly at PLN31.3 million.

First half EBITDA was PLN169.9 million, up 8%.
