Dune HD set-tops to include Opera SDK

Opera Software and Dune HD have teamed up to provide the Opera Devices software development kit on Dune HD set-top boxes and hybrid media players.

Dune HD players combine a home media player with a set-top box. With the Opera Devices SDK, all Dune HD models will bring optimised web browsing for TV, while Opera’s HTML5 engine, enhancing operator’s graphical user interfaces, will also make them ready to run Smart TV apps, according to Opera.
