Sky to offer subtitling for movies and football

German pay TV operator Sky Deutschland is to start offering subtitles on a selection of movies for those with impaired hearing.

The operator will offer the movies in the Sky Film package on its Anytime and Go platforms. Between eight and ten subtitles movies will be made available each month.

In addition, Sky will start offering subtitles for its Bundesliga football coverage.
