Com Hem sees subscribers fall, revenues stable

Swedish cable operator Com Hem has turned in a mixed set of second quarter results, with revenue up by 1.6% year-on-year to SEK1.148 billion (€140 million) and EBITDA up 1.9% to SEK541 million.

Com Hem saw its digital TV base reach 620,900, down on from 643,600 at the end of March. Broadband, telephony and triple-play customers also declined in the quarter, and the total number of customers fell from 851,800 to 834,800.

Total connected households grew by 5,000 over the quarter to 1.749 million, while subscribers declined. The company had a total of 1.529 million revenue-generating units at the end of June.
