The pair will integrate the Pixelmetrix OTT Media Grinder (OMG) QoS/QoE solution for OTT with the Verimatrix VCAS content authorisation system. The combined solution is designed to integrate the element of security into system performance testing and usage monitoring.
“Ensuring high performance, cost-optimised delivery system, while controlling OPEX, is a fundamental goal for service providers. We collaborate with Verimatrix as they are the specialist in revenue security for multi-network digital TV services. By integrating our OMG with their VCAS security, we are enabling our customers to optimise media delivery and the security infrastructure that supports that delivery,” said Pixelmetrix CEO Danny Wilson.
“As multi-network video services grow in sophistication and scale, operators need the best tools to help optimise quality, functionality and the consumer experience,” said Steve Oetegenn, chief sales and marketing officer, Verimatrix.
“Pixelmetrix expands our ecosystem of partners that support enhanced HLS security and brings a new, powerful tool to effectively manage the delivery of premium video services.”
At IBC, Pixelmetrix will demonstrate the OMG, the new Pelican video encoder and the DVStor2 Transport Stream recording, playout, compliance recording and disaster recovery solution.
Pixelmetrix will be exhibiting at IBC on Stand 1.F34. Verimatrix will be exhibiting on Stand 4.B54.
