Lithuanian telco Teo has started selling TV sets from Samsung to its pay TV customers for a monthly fee.
The telco is offering three Samsung models for LTL29.90 (€8.50) per month under a three-year contract. All TV sets come with an integrated digital TV tuner meaning customers don’t need a set-top box.
“Until now, Teo was offering its customers the equipment necessary for digital TV – converter boxes and antennae. To facilitate the transition to digital TV, we decided to offer them to conveniently purchase the main attribute of bright digital TV colours – the TV set,” said Teo’s head of service development and marketing, Nerijus Ivanauskas.
