Your Family Entertainment hires channel chief

German broadcaster Your Family Entertainment has hired former Deluxe Television executive Laurence Robinet to become channel manager.

She will replace Bernd Brunner, who will leave the company later this year, and will report to chief executive Stefan Piech. Robinet was previously head of pay TV at Deluxe Television and was responsible for launching pay TV network Deluxe HD as well as two music channels. At Your Family Entertainment, Robinet will be in charge of the company’s existing pay TV channels as well as RiC, the new free-to-air channel that it is launching in September.

“I am delighted that Laurence Robinet is joining our team. She has extensive experience in the television business, especially establishing and expanding channels as well as in international distribution of children’s programming,” said Piech.
