Google’s Motorola files suit against Apple

Google’s Motorola Mobility unit has filed a patent infringement suit against Apple, alleging that the latter has violated its intellectual property.

The company has filed a complaint with the US international Trade Commission alleging that Apple has infringed seven patents, including patens covering the Siri voice-activation system used on the latest generation of iPhones. Motorola has called for a ban on imports of iPhones made abroad into the US if the case goes its way.
