UK pay TV platform BSkyB has promoted Stephen Ladlow to director of its Challenge and Pick TV channels.
Ladlow was formerly sponsorship controller at Sky Media, Sky’s ad sales house, and he has worked for the News Corp-backed company since 2002. He will now be responsible for content and commercial strategies at game-show network Challenge and Pick TV, its free-to-air network that airs series after they have debuted on pay TV. He will report to Stuart Murphy, director of programs at Sky.
Murphy said: “As our only free-to-air entertainment channels, Pick and Challenge play an important role within our broad portfolio of channels. Stephen’s love of TV coupled with his experience and expertise of working with brands in innovative ways is just the combination we’ve been looking for.”
