Channel 4 appoints digital innovation head

Channel 4 has appointed Jonathan Lewis as head of digital and partnership innovation.

Lewis joins the commercial broadcaster from online music video site Vevo where he was managing director, having previously been head of digital media and commercial partnerships for C5 and Northern & Shell Group. He will be responsible for driving Channel 4’s innovation agenda from a commercial perspective through digital, data, sponsorship, product placement, advertiser programming and promotions to create integrated and innovative marketing solutions.

Channel 4’s director of sales, Jonathan Allan said: “I had Jonathan in mind as a great candidate when I created this role back in autumn last year, but the timing wasn’t right. Luckily, the extended search to fill this role has enabled me to get the ideal person for the job. His experience is a perfect fit and we are very much looking forward to him becoming part of the new leadership team.”
