TV software company Access has announced that it is working with TV manufacturer Vestel to provide media playback and enhanced content control features on its devices.
Vestel has integrated Access’s DLNA solution, NetFront Living Connect, with its newly DLNA Certified Digital Media Player (DMP) and Digital Media Renderer (DMR). The integration means consumers will be able to move content from secondary screens including iPads and smartphones to the main TV screen.
Vestel TVs can also now be combined with DLNA Certified controller applications to enable the control of the TVs from tablets and smartphones.
“It is very important to us that we both simplify and enrich user experiences and the Access solution has enabled us to do this by providing powerful yet consumer friendly media sharing for our TVs,” said Hakan Kutlu, deputy general manager, Vestel.
