Cyprus service provider PrimeTel has chosen Russian technology company SmartLabs to provide a hybrid platform for the delivery of TV services.
PrimeTel PLC offers traditional IPTV services and is now planning to promote DVB-T broadcasting with interactive services delivered over the internet. SmartLabs will deploy its SmartTUBE SDP Service Delivery Platform, SmartSPY monitoring solution, integrate them with the security and content encoding systems, and deliver SML-303 hybrid set-tops to support DVB-T/IP.
