Ex-ITV boss to probe BBC’s impartiality

Stuart Prebble, the former chief of UK commercial broadcaster ITV, will lead an investigation into the impartiality of UK public broadcaster the BBC.

The report into the BBC was ordered by the BBC Trust, which oversees the corporation’s activities and follows an earlier 2007 probe into the BBC’s reporting against a background of social and technological change.
