Analysts bullish on ITV

Financial analysts are positive on UK broadcaster ITV’s prospects. Credit ratings specialist Moody’s has raised its rating on the commercial broadcaster citing its efforts in implementing its strategic turnaround plan and solid performance in a challenging economic environment.

However, the broadcaster could need to make strategic acquisitions to fulfill its ambition of diversifying its revenue base, Moody’s said. It noted: “Moody’s believes that the company may need to make add-on acquisitions over the short to medium term to increase its exposure to non-television advertising.”
