German cable technology company WISI Communications has launched a new module for its WISI Compact OH headend.
The Twin A/V OH 66 encoder has two analogue video and stereo/audio inputs or two digital SDI inputs. In the output range from 47-862MHz the operator has a choice between QAM or COFDM modulation, with the latter option becoming available in the fourth quarter. COFDM is targeted at systems for hotels supplying flatscreens with an integrated DVB-T tuner.
