BBC uses Adobe Primetime to deliver Olympics

The BBC is to use Adobe’s Primetime Simulcast platform to deliver coverage of the Olympics and other major sports events simultaneously to desktops, smartphones, tablets, and internet-connected TVs to viewers across the UK. The BBC will also use Adobe’s Primetime Highlights service to deliver video-on-demand coverage.

Adobe’s Project Primetime is an initiative designed to enable the delivery of video via apps and browsers across all major platforms including the iOS and Android ecosystems.
