Prisa adds Canal Plus subs as overall group revenues decline


Spanish media group Prisa added 40,968 subscribers to its pay TV platform Canal Plus in the year to the end of its second quarter, taking its pay TV total to 1.8 million.

Revenues from Prisa’s audiovisual unit totalled €594 million in the quarter while overall revenues came in at €1.3 billion, a sharp decline on the €1.6 billion the company reported a year earlier.
