Google-owned Motorola Mobility turned in an operating loss of US$233 million (€190 million) on revenues of US$1.25 billion for the second quarter.
During a conference call on Google’s results, chief financial officer Patrick Pichette told analysts that the company was still evaluating Motorola’s businesses, including its set-top division.
Google focused on its own core advertising business in its presentation of the results. The internet giant posted revenues for the three months to June of US$12.2 billion and net income of US$2.8 billion.
