TV Solent chooses Canis Media for local TV bid

UK local TV company TV Solent has chosen Canis Media to assist it in the preparation of a Local Digital TV Programming Service (L-DTPS) licence.

TV Solent, supported and backed by Southampton Solent University, plans to operate from studio facilities on their campus in the centre of Southampton and make use of the expertise of its students and staff to complement a core team of media professionals.

Canis Media is marketing its services to local TV licence applicants in a bid to meet what it describes as demand for a co-operative approach and access to a cost-effective broadcast infrastructure.
