Sundance Channel is expanding its distribution in Poland after its parent company struck a carriage deal with the ‘n’ platform. The deal comes on the eve of the Digital TV Central and Eastern European conference, organised by Informa Telecoms and Media, in Budapest.
The carriage deal is the latest struck by AMC/Sundance Channel Global following deals in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Hungary and Taiwan. The channel is already available via the UPC Polska cable platform in the country.
“Poland continues to be a priority market for the expansion of Sundance Channel across central and eastern Europe and we are thrilled that this launch will greatly increase our footprint in the country,” said Bruce Tuchman, president, AMC/Sundance Channel Global.
