China Investment Corporation buys 7% Eutelsat stake

Albertis, the Spanish infrastructure company, has sold a 7% stake in satellite operator Eutelsat to China Investment Corporation for €385 million.

Albertis acquired its stake in Eutelsat in 2006 in a deal valued at €1 billion. Last January, it sold a 16% stake in the operator in a private placement among qualified investors. The company retains a 8.35% stake.
