GOtv, a new pay TV offering for Nigeria, has launched on the country’s digital-terrestrial TV platform.
GOtv is using DVB-T2 modulation to deliver two bouquets of channels, GOtv and GOtv Plus, priced at NGN1,000 (€4.80) and NGN1,500 respectively. New customers can receive digital receivers and three months subscription for NGN8,000 for GOtv or NGN9,500 for GOtv Plus.
GOtv general manager Mayo Okunola said at a launch event in Lagos that the service was aimed squarely at low and middle-income customers.
