Orange and SFR have unveiled plans to roll out fibre networks across Marseille and the surrounding region.
Having begun deploying networks in the densely populated parts of the city, the pair have announced plans to complete the rollout in less densely populated zones across 17 communes covering over 91,000 households. The rollout is scheduled to be completed by 2015.
Orange and SFR agreed last November to cooperate in the deployment of fibre in less densely populated zones across the country.
