Belgacom acquires rights to promoted teams’ games

Belgacom has acquired all broadcast rights to TV, mobile and the internet for the home matches of football teams Sporting de Charleroi and Waasland-Beveren, which have been promoted from the country’s Division 2 into the Jupiler Pro League.

Belgacom has acquired all rights to the pair’s home games for the next season. Matches will be available to all Belgacom TV customers across all platforms. The telco has sponsored the two teams since November 2011.
