Motorola Mobility updates KreaTV

Motorola Mobility has updated KreaTV, its operating system for IP set-top boxes.

Version 4.4 offers web browsing, as well as HTTP Live Streaming, including support for Motorola’s SecureMedia HLS+ content encryption. It also features USB time-shift, retransmission and fast channel change, based on the IETF standards and expanded support for IETF TR-069, TR-135 and TR-106 standards meaning operators can remotely monitor and manage set-tops. The updated KreaTV also offers whole home DVR.
