BBC moving kids programming to dedicated digital channels

The BBC is moving all of its kids programming to its dedicated CBeebies and CBBC kids channel  the UK public broadcaster confirmed yesterday.

The cost-cutting measure will see kids shows that currently air on BBC One and BBC Two, including iconic and long-running series Blue Peter, migrate to the dedicated kids services. Defending the move, the BBC said that almost all viewing of its kids programming was now on CBeebies and CBBC.
